1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all web design, website development, UI/UX design, website maintenance, digital consultation, and related services offered by Crazywhiz, whether purchased as one-time services, milestone-based projects, or ongoing engagements. Due to the customised and intellectual nature of web design services, cancellations and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, subject to the stage of work completed at the time of cancellation.

2. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation, the client must formally notify Crazywhiz by email. All cancellation requests must be sent to:

  • Client name and registered email address
  • Project or service reference
  • Clear reason for cancellation
  • Date of request

Cancellation requests are considered valid only after written acknowledgment is provided by Crazywhiz.

3. Cooling-Off Period (UK Consumer Rights)

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, individual consumers based in the UK may be entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period for services purchased online or remotely with Crazywhiz UK.

However, where the client has:

Requested immediate commencement of services, and Acknowledged that the right to cancel may be affected once work begins, the right to a full refund may be limited or waived, depending on the extent of work already completed.

4. Cancellation Before Work Commences

If a cancellation request is received before any work has started, the client may be eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable administrative or payment processing fees (if applicable). Crazywhiz will confirm whether work has officially commenced based on project records and communications.

5. Cancellation After Work Has Started

If the client cancels the service after work has commenced, refunds will be assessed based on the amount of work completed up to the cancellation date.

Factors considered include:

  • Time spent on research, planning, and design
  • Development progress and deliverables created
  • Third-party costs incurred (such as software licences, plugins, or hosting tools)

In such cases:

The client may receive a partial refund, or No refund may be issued if a substantial portion of the service has already been delivered

Any completed work up to the cancellation date remains the intellectual property of Crazywhiz unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Milestone-Based Projects

For projects structured around milestones:

  • Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable
  • Cancellations during an active milestone may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on progress
  • Crazywhiz will provide a written summary outlining the work completed and the refund calculation, if applicable.

7. Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Custom design work already delivered
  • Completed website pages or features
  • Consultation services already rendered
  • Domain registrations, hosting fees, or third-party purchases made on the client’s behalf

These services involve time, expertise, and resources that cannot be reversed once delivered.

8. Delays and Client Responsibilities

Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by:

  • Failure to provide required content, approvals, or feedback
  • Delayed responses beyond agreed timelines
  • Changes in project scope initiated by the client

If a project becomes inactive due to prolonged client non-communication, Crazywhiz reserves the right to close the project without refund after providing reasonable notice.

9. Quality Concerns and Dispute Resolution

If a client is dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, we strongly encourage raising the concern promptly by emailing info@crazywhiz.co.uk.

We aim to:

  • Understand the issue clearly
  • Offer revisions where contractually agreed
  • Resolve disputes amicably and professionally

Refunds are not automatically issued for subjective dissatisfaction where services have been delivered in line with the agreed scope.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be:

  • Processed using the original payment method where possible
  • Completed within 7–14 working days from approval
  • Crazywhiz is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.

11. Termination by Crazywhiz

Crazywhiz reserves the right to terminate a service if:

The client breaches agreed terms

Abusive, unlawful, or unethical behaviour is observed

Payments remain outstanding despite reminders

In such cases, refunds (if any) will be determined based on work completed to date.

12. Amendments to This Policy
